Classes are now held in our new shop premises at 223 Europa Boulevard, just across the road from where the shop used to be located. On evening classes we will be keeping the shop open exclusively for the class in case there are any bits of shopping you need to do with us before you leave.

Watch a demonstration on how to torte, fill, crumb coat and cover a four layered 6” sponge cake
See how to:
Make, colour and texture butter cream
Put together your own sponge cake with your chosen filling and decorate your cake either with a coloured butter cream or a texturing technique.
Skills you will learn:
Use a scraper, fill and use a piping bag, levelling a sponge cake, apply butter cream to the sides and top of a sponge cake, colour butter cream and various texturing techniques.
This class will give you a good basic knowledge of assembling a sponge cake to give it that professional finish.
It will enable you to extend your learning and attend further classes where we can make a chocolate drip cake, a rose ombre cake and a two tier butter cream cake
